What to Expect

After travelling to more than 30 countries and living on 4 continents Utah continues to be one of our favorite places in the world, and we want to show you why! This trip is action packed, you'll probably be ready for a vacation by the time we are through. We schedule this trip to have it all! We have great accommodations to allow for enjoyable rest in between our journeys as we cover approximately 1,000 miles of Utah. You can expect a lot of journeying. There will be plenty of opportunities to take in the grandeur and beauty while you can rely on our guides to lead the way dealing with decision making, logistics, travel and safety.

We provide all the gear for the activities below including: Wet suit, Harness, Helmet, Rappel Device, Head lamp, Mountain Bikes, Dry bag and packs. Once you have signed up we will set up a time to call you and discuss the trip more in depth. In addition, we will provide a comprehensive check list to ensure you have everything you need for this trip. Due to the small size of our groups, our trips fill up fast so unfortunately if we reach our capacity we will add you to our waiting list (you won't be charged until you have a confirmed spot).

Sample Itinerary:

We pride ourselves on being flexible and take into account the desires/personalities of our groups. If there is one activity we believe the group might enjoy more than another we will discuss it and make the decision to ensure our trips end up being the best possible.

Canyoneering - Descend 2-3 other beautiful canyons

Mountain Bike - Mountain Bike world famous Moab

Hiking/Exploring - Visit 5 national parks, a national monument, and a state park as well as visiting several less known hidden gems.

Day 1:

We'll meet up in the Capital of Utah (Salt Lake City). This will give us a chance to know a little more about the culture and history of Utah as we visit Salt Lake City Temple. We'll get a feel for our group as we take a brief tour of the area before we head to our first destination, Moab! After dinner we will group together and do some training to prepare us for our adventures on this trip.

Day 2:

We'll start the day early so we can get up and capture the sunrise through an arch at Canyonlands National Park. Once the sun has risen we'll take our mountain bikes and do 10-20 miles of downhill. If the group is up for it we might throw in some climbing too. After we finish up we will head over to catch the sunset in Arches National Park. By the time we finish with all these activities we will be ready to relax as we hit up the town and dine at a local restaurant.

Day 3:

We are going to drive over for some rappelling into a cave like hole that is found in the middle of thousands of hoodoos. This place will blow your mind as it is totally other worldly. On our drive have a stop at a semi secret spot to check out some amazing rock formations. Once we complete our rappelling we will head down through Capitol Reef National park and the town of Fruita. We'll stop and look at some of the features here on our way to the destination of the night in a National Monument.

Day 4:

We have two options for this day. Option 1 - take it easier this day with a hike or two to some local waterfalls as we prepare for the big day ahead of us. We'll also stop at some road side attractions and take in the views and a small hike to some Native American murals. Option 2 - Descend a slot canyon with a rappel that is almost 300 ft high.

Day 5:

This is going to be a big day as we hike 10-12 miles down in the National Monument to descend a world famous canyon. We will want to have plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery so we will spend the whole day here as we hike, swim, jump, and rappel our way through this day.

Day 6:

We will spend the day in Bryce National Park exploring the collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. This will give us miles of amazing land to visit and explore as we take in the huge walls, hoodoos, and other formations.

Day 7:

Zion - There is so much to do in Zion that we will discuss with our guest their desires to ensure each guest gets to see what they desire. Zion has some amazing vistas and intimate locations so we want to make sure we cover all the options available. As we finish up the day we will head back north and stop at some hot springs to break up the drive a bit. It will be a good way to relax from all the movement we have done over the past several days.

Day 8:

Our final day where we say goodbye. We will depart and head to the airport for those that are departing Utah or we'll drop you off at a predetermined location based on where your next adventure takes you.
